In the Spotify mobile app, tap your profile picture and scroll to the carousel of your friends' pictures. It shows each friend's current or last played song. Daycut shows a friend's day: up to 10 tracks they played, whether they use Spotify, Apple Music or Yandex Music.
Spotify offers Listening Activity on mobile to users 16 and up in markets with Messages. Each friend controls their own sharing under Settings and privacy, then Privacy and social. You can see theirs with your own turned off. A Messages chat with them shows the same song under their name; the first time you message someone, they get a message request. On desktop, click Listening Activity at the top, next to your profile picture.
Apple Music gives you a profile. Friends who follow it see your recent plays in a Friends Are Listening To row and in a Friends Mix. It works for people with an Apple Music subscription, and you choose which playlists and plays to share.
Daycut works with Spotify, Apple Music and Yandex Music, whichever you use. Spotify listeners connect through a free Last.fm account in about 2 minutes. Once a day, at one random moment, Daycut cuts your day down to up to 10 tracks you played. You tap send, and friends on any of the three services see your cut in the same feed. Their cuts open when yours does.

No live now-playing. No Android app yet. No shared playlists: a cut is what you played, and Daycut assembles it for you.
Yes. Daycut reads your play history from the service you connected and changes nothing inside the Spotify app.
No. Your friends get your day at the daily moment, and you decide whether to send it.
Daycut connects to it like the others. Yandex Music has no friends feed of its own, so Daycut becomes the feed.
